Dinamika Komunikasi Organisasi dalam Mengatasi Toxic Workplace Environment

Toxic workplace environment merupakan fenomena organisasi yang berdampak serius terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan, kualitas hubungan kerja, serta kinerja organisasi secara keseluruhan. Lingkungan kerja yang toksik sering kali ditandai oleh konflik berkepanjangan, kepemimpinan yang bermasalah, rendahnya kepercayaan, serta pola komunikasi yang disfungsional. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika komunikasi organisasi dalam mengatasi toxic workplace environment melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada peran komunikasi organisasi dalam memediasi konflik, membentuk iklim kerja, dan memengaruhi perilaku individu di dalam organisasi. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang tidak transparan, manipulatif, dan minim umpan balik memperkuat konflik laten, meningkatkan stres kerja, serta memperburuk ketidakpuasan karyawan. Sebaliknya, komunikasi organisasi yang asertif, adaptif, terbuka, dan berkelanjutan terbukti mampu memperkuat psychological safety, menekan perilaku kerja toksik, serta mendorong penyelesaian konflik secara konstruktif. Selain itu, komunikasi yang efektif berperan penting dalam mencegah munculnya kembali lingkungan kerja toksik dengan membangun kepercayaan, keterlibatan, dan kolaborasi antaranggota organisasi. Dengan demikian, penguatan sistem dan budaya komunikasi organisasi menjadi strategi krusial bagi organisasi dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang sehat, produktif, dan berkelanjutan, sekaligus mendukung kesejahteraan sumber daya manusia dan keberhasilan organisasi jangka panjang.
